She concentrates her practice on investor and business visas as well as employment-based visas for individuals seeking to relocate permanently to the U.S. Throughout the years, Maray has assisted numerous individuals, entrepreneurs, investors, executives, professionals, and foreign and domestic companies realize their business immigration and immigrant goals through creative and innovative counseling.
Maray advocates for a wide range of clients around the U.S., Canada, Latin America, Europe, and Australia. She has represented clients with complex business immigration matters before the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and the United States Department of State. Maray is dedicated to the practice of federal immigration law and facilitates the work of immigration and consular officers by placing a special emphasis on the benefit the U.S. would gain by granting the petition or visa.
Specifically, Maray counsels multinational and foreign-owned companies on the transfer of executives, managers, and individuals with specialized knowledge, and is heavily involved in the creation of the U.S. based business and employment structure and in the analysis of the transferee’s duties. She also analyzes the goals of her international investor clients in order to recommend the most appropriate visa based upon their capital and intent, and architects an immigration plan through which the investors can effectively implement. From the first consultation and throughout representation, Maray ensures that her clients accurately document the source and transfer of funds so that all is clear, traceable, and credible.
Maray values teamwork and therefore in conjunction with her clients’ advisors and the firm’s own team of capable professionals, which include business and tax attorneys, economists, bankers, accountants, and business brokers, Maray ensures that a strong and well-drafted petition is presented. She remains as a trusted advisor to the clients and with the assistance of her team acts as their liaison to ease the transition between cultures and countries.
Prior to joining the firm, Maray worked and interned for prestigious immigration law firms where she worked on complex family and business immigration matters and was trained by top immigration experts in immigration law. She also interned with a judge from the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida, Juvenile Division.
Maray is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), the largest national association of immigration attorneys in the U.S, is part of the South Florida, Latin American, and Rome Chapters. Maray is also the vice-president of the Florida International University Honors Alumni Association and chairs its Legal Board.
